GRAVELMAN 2027
The 2027 edition of the GRAVELMAN Triathlon and Duathlon for Cancer will take place on Sunday, July 11th in beautiful Killarney Lake Park located in Fredericton, NB. GRAVELMAN is the SAFEST and most BEGINNER FIRENDLY multisport race in ALL OF CANADA! The entire race occurs within the 1200-acre municipal park’s boundaries (that's right - NO CARS, no pavement and no problems!). The course features a warm, sheltered lake, a 10 km forested cycling loop suitable for "gravel", cyclocross, mountain and fat bikes, and a 2 km lakeside trail run loop.

You name it, we got it! There is something for everyone, whether you are a new rookie or a seasoned veteran! GRAVELMAN 2027 will include the triathlon (swim-bike-run), duathlon (run-bike-run), aquabike (swim-bike) and aquathlon (swim-run) disciplines in both INDIVIDUAL and TEAM RELAY categories for Try-a-Tri (ages 8+), Super-Sprint, Sprint and Olympic distances: Schedule

That's right - Everybody finishes at GRAVELMAN! Even if we have to stay all night or carry you in our arms, you are crossing the finish line. But if for some reason you can't, maybe due to a mechanical breakdown or injury, next year you race for FREE! That's right - you can come back and take care of unfinished business at no extra charge!

Don't Have a $7,500 Bike?
No budget? No problem! Even if you ride a 65 lb solid steel grocery-getter with a basket and fenders you can still race GRAVELMAN. We even allow tandems and unicycles! The only rules are no aero bars and that your tires must not be bald. And even if you have no bike at all, then just let us know in advance and we will help arrange to get you a loaner!

Fundraiser for Cancer Research
GRAVELMAN is an important fundraiser in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. Athletes taking part obtain race sponsorships from family, co-workers and friends with all proceeds going towards cancer research. Any racer who raises just $95 in TAX DEDUCTIBLE donations receives a FREE ENTRY! That's only 4 donations of just $25.00. Since 2024, we have raised over $17,500 for cancer research! Beginner's Skills Clinics
On Saturday, July 10th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm we are holding beginner's triathlon skills clinics at the race site in Killarney Lake Park. These clinics will be led by Triathlon NB coaches and are perfect for first time triathletes who want to build confidence, learn race day skills and prepare for a successful GRAVELMAN experience in a safe, friendly and supportive environment.
World Championships Qualifier
GRAVELMAN 2027 is the ONLY race in the Maritimes that has secured male and female OLYMPIC DISTANCE age group qualifier spots for the 2028 Cross-Triathlon and Cross-Duathlon World Championships. For more information, please click here: Triathlon Canada WQS
Legendary Finish Line Atmosphere
Maybe you've already heard, but our finish line experience is like no other! That's right, we put the big franchised races to shame! Each and every athlete gets to be the centre of attention! We're talking about a finish chute packed with crazed spectators, a massive gantry and finish line tape to run through no matter what your placing, professional photographers, our (in)famous FINISHER"S GONG, a photo booth, huge complimentary BBQ and FREE MASSAGES provided by the awesome students from the Easter College Massage Therapy program. And don't forget about all our amazing SWAG!
Celebration Dinner
